Beverly Gilbert Lampley

I recently found out Bev had passed during a service at St Matt's. It was a pleasure serving on St Matt's Vestry with Bev.One of the last times I saw her was at an empty bowls soup charity event at Catholic Outreach-saved a homemade bowl for me. Bev was a tireless champion for the marginal/homeless in our community. I saw Bev earlier this year on local news in front of 4 building complexes for the homeless. When dropping off donations at Catholic Outreach there would be a line of homeless...

We met Bev on a tour of Catholic Outreach. We could see her compassion and passion in the way she talked with people. She blessed us in the short amount of time we were able to spend with her. What a wonderful woman!
