I'm not sure what inspired me to Google Aunt Bev's name this morning. Although I hadn't seen her in years, I remember her as a warm soul who reached out to me when nobody else from this side of my family did. I'm grateful to her and Uncle Don for doing so, and for answering questions for me that would have otherwise lingered in my brain. Rest peacefully, Aunt Bev. Love, Mark

Bev was my client for over40 years. She was so easy going and fun to become friends with. She followed me to every salon I went to. She never got upset with anyone and always was pleasant no matter how badly she felt. Years ago she said if it wasn't for Her husband, Don, she would be in a nursing home!. He took excellent care of her.
At one point her daughter went to beauty school. In that time she felt she had to support her, and had her do her hair. Cheryl found out it was not her gift not too long after. I would run into Bev in the grocery store and she would point at her hair and she would say to me, look at me, just look at me!
Those were the days when she was very active on the golf course and making creative things with her hands and sewing machines. When her daughter realized hair dressing it was not her gift, Bev returned to my salon and we have had a relationship that I have treasured all these years!
I will miss her terribly, but know hearing directly from her that she was excited to see Jesus face to face! Now her eyes are feasting on her Savior!
