Chief Berney was a great Firefighter and had true kindness. He used wisdom in his leadership. He will always be remember by those of us who had the privilege to work with him or under his leadership..

Chief Berney will be missed as his life has positively impacted so many of us. Job well done Chief.

Dear Berney Family: Chief Berney was a leader whom I respected and admired. He was my District Chief and I could not have served under a finer man than he. Chief Berney will be forever remembered for his kind nature and dedication to serving others. What a wonderful legacy to leave.
