Bobbie Conley Obituary
BOBBIE SHIRLEY CONLEY, 86 of Charleston passed away Saturday June 3, 2023 at the home of her daughter, Teresa Conley Schott, in Merritt Island, Fl.
Shirley was born in Surgoinsville, TN on October 20, 1936 to the late Robert Thomas and Daisy Virginia Brunner Huckaby. She was a retired Beautician with 30 years of service, having worked alongside her husband, Donald Conley, at Conley's Hair Styling in Rand. She was a member of the St. Johns United Methodist Church and a 50 year member of Salina Chapter #81 Order of the Eastern Star.
Along with her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Conley; Foster Parents, Robert and Edith Shelton; son-in-law, Tom Schott; sister, Sarita Shelton.
Shirley is survived by her son, Pascal "Pete" (Becki) Conley of Belle; daughter, Teresa Conley Schott of Merritt Island, FL.; sister, Gladys Gonce of Kingsport, TN.; grandchildren, Amber & Morgan Conley both of Charleston and 13 great grandchildren.
A visitation with family and friends will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday June 15, 2023 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden. At 7 p.m. an Eastern Star Service will begin conducted by Salina Chapter #81 followed by the Funeral Service officiated by Rev. Dalton Hudnall. Entombment will be held on Friday June 16, 2023 at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
