One thing you can say about Robert and Brenda: They knew how to laugh. And they passed that gift on to their children. Life is not as serious as we make it out to be. We are here and gone. The Parrish family is an example of how to live in the time we have on earth. Brenda was an inspiration to us all because of her fearlessness toward her fate and her love of life despite her circumstances. Her family must be so proud of her. And I know she is proud of them and maybe still giggling a little as she watched her husband and children once again CELEBRATE her arrival in the kingdom of heaven at her funeral. If you can see this Brenda, congratulations on a job well done.

Brenda and Robert were two of the greatest friends I have ever had. While time and miles have seperated us the treasure of that friendship is still strong. Carolyn and I take great comfort in knowing we shall meet again. To the family we can only say that heaven gained a true angel.

Brenda was a woman of unwavering faith, unconditional love, and contagious laughter. I will be eternally grateful for the love and memories she has given my children over the last 10 years. She was an amazing Granny and she will be dearly missed. Much Love!
