Carolyn and I send sincere condolences to Brian's family. Brian was a good friend. He always maintained a positive attitude and a sense of humor notwithstanding the health issues he was experiencing. Besides library visits, Brian enjoyed our trips to art museums, especially the Tang, at Skidmore College. He got a kick out of the some of their more outrageous exhibits and we discussed them and critiqued them. He turned me on to I. B. Singer and Chaim Potok in the Jewish genre of novelists and...
