Brian Emmett Kennedy

I still think of Brian often, missing our weekly talks. A true friendship that developed later in our lives but no less valuable because of the timing. Rest in Peace my friend.

Carolyn and I send sincere condolences to Brian's family. Brian was a good friend. He always maintained a positive attitude and a sense of humor notwithstanding the health issues he was experiencing. Besides library visits, Brian enjoyed our trips to art museums, especially the Tang, at Skidmore College. He got a kick out of the some of their more outrageous exhibits and we discussed them and critiqued them. He turned me on to I. B. Singer and Chaim Potok in the Jewish genre of novelists and...

My condolences to you Jesse and Moira. I will always remember your dad as a seeker; someone who could revel in the complexities of life, be it jazz or philosophy.

Tuesdays with Brian. That's what our weekly visits became. Great conversations about music,the Bronx and ,of course , philosophy according to Brian. I will miss our talks and wonderful friendship. Rest in the peace of eternal jazz, man.

So sorry to read of Brian´s passing. I worked with him several years and enjoyed his smiling face and interesting stories. He will be truly missed
