Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Thank you to all of the wonderful family friends who have posted messages about Dad. It means a great deal to us that you took the time to share your memories. Dad was such a character, such a happy, complex guy. Simple in ways, complicated in others. Thank you for all the kind words. I too, have wonderful childhood memories from Belevedere Street.
Love, Michelle

I met Bruce, Suzy, and you children in 1973. I was young, innocent, pondering life and my next move when suddenly more whole world, and the way I viewed changed. There was so much fun and commotion in that house on Walnut Ave in Redlands. My prayers go out to Scott, Lynn, Michelle,Lacey, and their families as you mourn the loss of your father, a very fun and complex man. He made a difference in this world. I will remember him always.

I'm glad I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Bruce.

He taught Scott, myself,& all the kids how to play football(keep your butt down and go low and you can block anybody)he was a inspiration to me, and I will never forget his smile! Rest in peace, heaven is your home.

Mr. MacLachlan was such a great role model for us growing up on Belvedere Avenue. Godspeed.

What happy memories I have of all the kids on Belvedere growing up. Mr. MacLachlan was a wonderful man and his hearty laugh is hard to forget!

Today I said goodbye to an amazing man, someone who left a legacy not only here in San Bernardino, but from what I learned today, wherever he stepped foot before and after his days in San Bernardino. When we moved to this area in 1979, I was lucky enough to land a job in his firm, where I learned everything I know today. It was a wonderful place to work - THE BEST - and to this day, I can't go into a law firm without SOMEONE there having at some point in their career worked at MacLachlan,...

I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. MacLachlan -- a gracious and kind man who was immensely funny and smart!
