Not sure what to say?

Dr. Hunter was my mother's OB/GYN in 1965, when she delivered me. My mother thought so highly of Dr. Hunter, that she actually named me after her. Having moved away from Miami after I was born, my mother lost contact w/Dr. Hunter. Today while having lunch, we were talking about her and decided to do a search and hopefully reconnect. We are saddened to discover her passing, and will forever be grateful for the influence on our lives. Her name will stay alive in our lineage, as my youngest...

I grew up in Coral Gables as did Caroline and her sister Sally. My deepest sympathy to the family and a fond rememberance to Sally.

I worked with her and was also her patient.
Compassionate, kind, caring and one of the best physicians I have ever known. As one of my friends put it, she broke the glass ceiling before we ever knew there was one. Her passing will leave a void that will never be filled. Rest in your well deserved peace Caroline and may your family receive comfort in all of their wonderful memories of you.

The last four children in our family, beginning with myself in 1964, were brought into this world by Dr. Hunter. She was not only my mother's Ob Gyn but a trusted confidant and friend for many, many years. We speak of her often and she will remain forever in our thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace in the company of our Lord. Sincerely,
Christina Feria-Machado

What a smile, warm laugh, and adventurous spirit.A world traveler, faithful friend, capable physician, and compassionate listener. She quietly inspired us to be our best selves.
Sweet Aunt Caroline, there will never be another like you.

Aunt Caroline delivered me into the world, showered me with wonderful childhood gifts, and took me to many Hurricane and Dolphin games. But I will always remember that, at the age of 82, she drove 1,200 miles from Miami to Bossier City to say good-bye to her dying friend (and my mother), Margaret Howell. Thank-you for all your love. Thanks for your kindness to David and Margaret through the years. You are missed!

Caroline was a good friend filled with grace and humor. We're lucky that she shared her sense of adventure, delight and most of all, kindness, with all of us. We will miss her forever.
