Carter is also survived by his maternal grandparents Gwendolyn C. Harkness, David R. Murphy and Paul Lester and paternal grandparents Sarah Carter Delaney and the late Paul Lyne Delaney; his brother Thomas Brooke Martin Delaney; his uncles Paul Lyne Delaney, Jr., David Brooke Delaney and Paul Lester and his aunts Sarah Largent, Landon Eno and Leslie Harkness Wortman. Family and friends are invited to call this evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at The COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME of LEESBURG, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd., NE. I met Carter at the dr.'s office where he worked, and saw him several times subsequently. He was such a nice young man, so polite and caring. I also met his mother Shelley one day and asked if they were related because of the resemblance. I just found out yesterday about Carter as I had not seen the news, and it devastated me. I cannot stop thinking of him and his mother. Please accept my condolences and sympathy. No words can express my feelings.
