Catherine Elizabeth Caesar

Cathy was a great colleague, a very honest and endlessly energetic person. She was extremely bright, and so helpful to me as I began my teaching career. She was a mentor and a friend. Most importantly she cared about her kids and family and always made them a priority as busy as she was with her career. The world has lost a gifted soul who educated and counseled so many. RIP Cathy. You will be missed dearly.

This is such a loss to the University of Dallas community. My experiences with Cathy were always positive. I loved working with her on student projects and I owe her a great debt for her masterful lectures on Art History, which I've been able to incorporate into my own teaching. I arrived at UD to find in Cathy a thoughtful and intelligent faculty senator and an inspiring educator. She was a great collaborator in all things and loved by many. Dr. Caesar was a wonderful professor and mentor and I am very sad to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family and friends.
