Not sure what to say?

Kathy, I express my sincere sympathy. Chuck was a kind, energetic, fun loving guy. The families of District 15 were very fortunate to have Chuck supporting them. My sympathy to your family too.

Chuck was always a bright spirit, interested in everything and everybody. He was compassionate and empathetic. We knew him a relatively short time -- compared to teachers and other coworkers -- but such a sincere and friendly person!

Chuck hired me to teach students with disabilities at Plum Grove School. It was my first teaching job. I was so fortunate to have his leadership, guidance, patience and kindness in the beginning of my 51 year career in education. I will always be indebted to chuck and offer my thoughts and prayers to his loved ones.

In loving memory of a wonderful Man. We will love you and miss you always. Curt and Misty Atkison

He was truly an amazing person for me to have had the opportunity to know. Always kind. Had some great memories.

It was an honor and a pleasure to work for Chuck at Lake Louise. He loved the school and his job. Chuck's endless enthusiasm for quality education spilled over into every aspect of Lake Louise. He will be greatly missed by so many.

We enjoyed getting to know Chuck at Lake Barrington Shores. He was such a kind, pleasant, mild mannered person but with a quiet energy that was the source for his many accomplishments. The world sorely needs more people like him.
