Chas was a friend and mentor. He preceded me as president of the Young Republicans club, and always welcomed me at Diane's Chuck Wagon. Chas supported me in my successful election to the Fort Lee Board of Education, and he was source of sound advice and friendship..

Dear Chris,
My heart and prayers go out to you. I happened to come across Chas' obit by chance and my heart sank for you.
I will always remember his generosity and the way he welcomed me into his home.
May God fill your head with the wonderful memories and your heart with all the love you shared together over the years.
