My sympathy is extended to Mr. Charlie's family. I started working at Strachan Shipping Company in the early 80's in the Corporate Office. After about 6 months, I would rotate between the main office and the stevedoring office. Mr. Charlie took me under his wing and taught me everything HE thought I needed to know about stevedoring. I am thankful I was able to chat with him for a few minutes in September.
