Charles W. Hebel

Charlie was one of the most admirable men one would ever hope to meet. He was caring and loving and helpful to the nth degree. His knowledge of the law and his expertise in the field is unsurpassed. His contributions to his community and to his fellow man are everlasting. He and Carol´s combined efforts have left lasting value to Louisville community. Charlie will be forever missed by me who considered him the most loyal of friends. Faye Moore

I was employed by Mr. Hebel right out of high school in 1965 in his law office, typing real estate documents. He and his wife, Carol, were more than employers; they were honest, hard-working, patient and caring. As my first employers, they set a high standard for those in the future. I am certain Mr. Hebel will be welcomed in heaven with open arms by Jesus!

Charlie and Carol were so kind to me when I was a young lawyer. I learned so much from Charlie. Charlie and Carol reminded good and loyal friends. Charlie you will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Carol and the family.

With Charlie Hebel's passing, another 'giant' of Louisville lawyering has left us. Charlie's contributions far surpass the Louisville Bar -- they were nationwide. My and Norma's sincere condolences to Carol. The shoes left to be filled, with the loss of Charlie's knowledge and reputation of the real estate law business, are size 18s. Charlie will be solely missed and not replaced.
