Not sure what to say?

Charlie and I have been long-time friends. I first knew Charlie when he was the eletrician at Miami Heart Institute on Miami Beach, FL. He was always a caring, hard-working gentleman with a great sense of humor. I missed seeing him when he moved to Port St. Lucie, but was fortunate enough to speak with him by phone within the past year. He often was a big help to the Miami Beach Fire
Fighters as well as to many others he came to know in his life. I enjoyed our many lunches together...

My sincere sympathy to the Kern family.
for your loss.

Charlie was a genuine "Good Guy". Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family and friends. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

I've known Charles since his son Rick &I became friends @13 &been blessed to have kept our friendship nurtured across 40 years in which I greeted Charles &Alicia many times.
(& knew Karen as the pesky little sister &then again in our 20s just before her marriage.)
My own dad began to fade with Alzheimer's about that same time so I had a special admiration for Charles as a great dad because I could see what I was missing. I don't remember a single moment when Charles wasn't a warm...

What a colorful, grand character! Never a dull moment and always a learning experience, when I was around Uncle Charles. I person that won't be forgotten.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Kern family as they go through this difficult time.

Uncle Charles, I will truly miss you. You have always been my favorite Uncle. So many memories I have had with you over the years. I love you.

I am truly going to miss you Uncle Charles. You will be in heaven with all of the angels which you were in life!!
