Not sure what to say?

Dear Barbara:

Bob and I were shocked and saddened when we heard on Friday about Charlie's passing and you have been on my mind ever since then. We didn't know him well, but learned about him through family and knowing you through work.

May your family and friends give you the comfort and strength you need during this difficult time. No one can ever replace Charlie....he will always be in your heart. He will be missed.

Our Deepest Sympathies,

Barbara, you have our condolences in your loss. Charlie was one of the people that I always looked forward to seeing each year at Odyssey World Finals. He will be missed.

Steph & Charlie during World Finals 2002

Dear Barbara,

There aren't words to express the shock and sadness I felt upon hearing the news that Charlie had passed away. He was one of the very first people I worked with at World Finals and I learned so much from him. He made quite an impression on me and guided me through a new and often challenging job. He taught me a lot about humor, patience and generosity and I'll remember him as someone who loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest.

It is inspiring to me...

Barb,
My heart is breaking for you at this time. I just loved Charlie and I will miss him so much, my Odyssey of the Mind buddy. Everytime he talked about you, you could feel the adoring love he had for you. Your children, grandchildren and fishing were his loves. It was wonderful to be in his presense and feel the love.

My favorite quote really fits: Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. ~From a headstone in Ireland

Barbara,
Jim and I were so upset and shocked when we learned of Charlie's death. We wish so much that we could get to NJ for the Memorial Service, but commitments that we cannot get out of will preclude us doing that.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your family at this sad time. Charlie was such a wonderful person. We missed both of you at Odyssey World Finals last year, and he will be missed for years to come. Know that we are thinking of you and...

Barbara, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time.

Barbara and family - John and I are very saddened by Charlie's passing. Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers. It was my pleasure to meet and get to know Charlie and I'm sorry that John will not have the opportunity to meet him too. May God grant you His peace and calm your hearts.

Barbara and family, We were shocked and saddened to hear of your loss. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
