Not sure what to say?

I first met Charlie at the Olde Worthington Folklife Celebration about 30 years ago and had the privilege of playing with Charlie and Alice at Prairie Peddler and will miss him. He was always willing to share his music with me.

I'm sorry to hear of Charles' passing. I used to live in the "neighborhood" and remember him out and about in the yard. The world will miss his music, but I am sure he is still making music in heaven.

Dear Esther, Doug, and Betty, May God comfort you during the loss of Charlie. I have special memories of your family visits to the Huddle farm; and I was privileged to join in. He was such a unigue and gifted man.

We will never forget Charlie at Prairie Peddler and Butler Historical Society. It was always a privilege and a pleasure to see him perform.
