Read MoreCharme and I became close friends during the 20 years I worked at CSUF. We spent many lunch hours sharing our lives. One of our favorite places to go was Polly's Pies, where we'd have a sloppy cheeseburger, then share hot apple pie and ice cream. In 2008 I was able to visit with her again while I was staying with Melinda on vacation. I'm glad I had that chanc. She was my friend and I loved her.
