Cindy Woltz Obituary

Cindy Woltz

Osceola - Cynthia Jane Woltz, 69, passed away April 20, 2018. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018 at McLaren's Chapel in West Des Moines with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.

Cindy was born January 25, 1949 in Des Moines, IA to Grover and Mary (Rusk) Hahn. Growing up she attended Roosevelt High School, Cotty College in Nevada, MO, and the University of Iowa. After raising her family, she was able to pursue her artistic interests while working in the family business. She loved hot coffee on cold winter mornings and loved watching birds, especially martins, on warm summer evenings. Most importantly, she was a good listener and mentor to all of those fortunate to have her in their life's circle.

Cindy was a beloved wife and mother and is survived by her husband, Peter; three children, Brian, Mary (Nate) Abner, and David (Jana); six grandchildren; and one brother, Grover (Cindy) Hahn.

Cindy was indeed a good listener and a super walking partner. She was very much missed after she moved to Osceola. There is a very big hole in my heart at this moment. God bless Cindy and her much lived family.
