Not sure what to say?

My family and I are so saddened to hear the news of Claudia. Upon the death of her own mother, mine said, "No one loves us like our mothers," and I have found that to be true. I am so very sorry for this loss, yet appreciated the friendship your mother had with mine all those years, especially in Corona Del Mar.

I just received this information & want to tell you how sorry I am to hear about your mom's passing. Good memories of our times at Galckin's in North Creek-thinking of you all. Megan

So sorry for your loss. She was a fantastic lady. Wish we had half her energy. She was always smiling and gracious. We will remember her in our prayers and on the slopes.

My deepest sympathies to all of Claudia´s family. Claudia came into my life when my mother married Bob Birdsong. She became my step-sister when they adopted her, which I thought was so cool. We kept in touch through the years with phone calls and letters. I was so sorry to hear she had died. Wishing all of you comfort in knowing how much she loved you all

Caroline, Steve, Rachel, Andrew, Claudia was a beautiful, caring, sincere, loving person. She was always thinking and doing for others, whether it be making pies, cranberry chutney or jams, or gathering up supplies for crafts at 4H. She will be missed greatly but take comfort in that she is with Beloved, Mike. They probably are skiing as we speak. May she Rest In Peace.

Claudia was a very special lady and i feel honored to have called her "friend". I know she will be missed by all who knew her - especially those at the Double H Ranch - both children, volunteers and staff. My sincere condolences to her family. May God Bless and comfort you in your sorrow. With love, Millie Gittinger

I first met Claudia as a substitute teacher in Glens Falls. She was always willing to share a great story, or some sage advice. Later, she was a dialysis patient, as was my dad, and they both lived at the Glen, so I'd run into her now and then. She was always cheerful despite her health issues. She made this world a better place, and is now, I'm sure, looking to do the same in heaven. My condolences to her family & loved ones.
