Saddened to learn of Craig's passing. I admired and liked him so much. He loved books and was ever kind to his colleagues. I recall in particular his excitement as he talked to me about his studies of libraries and reading in ancient Rome, but he always had a novel to recommend. What a great gift Craig was to all of us at Trinity. And now I hold him in my thoughts and prayers.

It was a privilege to have known Craig. He was very well read, engaging, funny and insightful on many topics. His low-key support of projects, ranging from the St. Olaf choir to the Santa Fe Opera to Cuban and New Mexican artists helped many to gain exposure to those premier artistic activities.

I am very saddened by Craigs passing. He was indeed a wonderful colleague, and has been missed sorely since his departure from Trinity University.

Craig was a major figure in the Trinity University community for nearly 25 years. He was a superb librarian, a knowledgeable art collector, a big fan of the Santa Fe opera, and a considerate and thoughtful colleague and boss. All of us at Trinity appreciated his dedication to his work and his co-workers.
