Dolly was a special woman; I moved to Flandreau when I was 7 years old and was fortunate to be her neighbor. She and her husband were wonderful, kind people, and it was a priveledge to grow up and keep in touch with this incredible woman.

My condolences to all of Dolly's family. It is such a loss to lose someone who has been a living history for her family. I know she meant a lot to you all, hoping you have many memories to cherish. Even though I did not know her, I followed her story as the oldest living South Dakotan.
