Dalip Gill Obituary
He will forever be in the heart of his beloved wife Amarjit, his son Satwant (Sunny), daughters Sarbjit (Sarb) and Sukhwinder (Sukhay). His grandson Chiraag will cherish the memories of his dear Nanaji.
In 1978; Dalip moved to Winnipeg and created love and legacy in the community which will never be lost. His passion and dedication for sports especially Kabaddi, will be the pride of his community for generations to come.
A funeral service was held at 10:00 am on Saturday March 2nd, 2013 at Thomson "In the Park" on McGillvray Boulevard.
Much gratitude is expressed to family and friends for their love and support during this time.
In lieu of flowers, private donation can be made to Sher-E-Punjab Sports Club E.K Winnipeg.

It feels like yesterday when you used to call me and convince me you were hiding in the house somewhere. Even though I knew you were tricking me, if there was even the slightest chance I would find you behind the couch, I would search the house inch by inch.
I guess what they say is true, you won't realize how much someone meant to you until they are taken from you. Mamaji, I miss you so much. I miss your presence. I miss your bear hugs. I miss your heart. I miss your smile. I miss your laugh; i miss how you could make the whole room tear up from laughing. i miss you. we miss you.
I hope you found peace Mama, I love you.

Your 3 kids are a direct reflection of your character. Sunny in particular, a younger brother, I look up to in many ways. There is a bit of you in each of them.
I will always remember you for your sincere passion of sports. I remember how proud you used to be of me. Sports continue to be a big passion in my life and that is something you gave me. Thank-you.
I miss you, my dad misses you and our family. You won't be forgotten.

Dad - each day goes by and we miss you more and more!
You where the best Dad anyone could ask for.
I know you are in a better place and I will continue to pray for you and
ask that your soul is finally at peace.
Dad - Chiraag misses you too!! He randomly says, "I miss Nanaji"
and I smile and cry at the same time.
