Not sure what to say?

Still miss you Dan.

Dan, I know you are doing well in keeping everyone safe in Heaven. You are missed. I still think of you and I working together at Shands. Your were a great Director to work for.

Daniel was a great friend who I worked for as Security Manager at Shands Hospital. He was a great Director who helped advance the Security Department. It was a loss when he left to pursue another career. I will never forget him and still think of him on occasion. I know he is in heaven directing God's security force.

I grew up with Daniel Finger and was so sorry to hear he died. He was always a great guy that was liked by everyone. My prayers are with his family and the repose of his soul

Toni, Pat and I have missed church for two weeks and were so distressed and surprised to find Dan's name in the bulletin this week. We know he is in the best hands now. May God be with you at this time. You and his family and friends are in our hearts and prayers ...please know how much he will be missed. He was such a good man. We did not know him well enough (wonderful obituary) but we knew him professionally (St. Vincent's and Shands) and at our wonderful church. Please know that he will...

Toni:

I was so sorry to see Dan's name in the bulletin when I picked it up this morning, we don't get the daily paper and we missed the announcement and did not know about the memorial service yesterday. My heart breaks for you, but one consolation is that he's no longer in pain and his fight is over ... now he can look down on you and Adam forever and make sure that your paths are clear for walking. So sorry we missed the service, Frank and I would have loved to be there, but you'll...

Toni & Adam - so sorry to learn Dan had lost his battle with this terrible disease. He fought hard and the best he could to beat it, so he could be with you and Adam. We will all miss him, but not as much as you two. I have many memories of Dan, but my most special was his taking care to be sure my mom received Communion at mass each Saturday. She can no longer go up to the priest, so he made sure Communion was brought to her. He was a kind and loving man even when he felt bad. I wish I...

Toni, I was so shocked and sad to see this in today's paper. I'm so glad I got to have a little visit and hugs with y'all at SVMC last year. Dan was such a great guy, always so friendly and happy! Seems like yesterday we were all hangin out in our white uniforms and clinic shoes, and Dan was Security Boss! Good times!
God Bless you, will keep y'all in our Prayers.
Love, Cathy and Russell Grooms

To Toni and Adam, I send sincere condolences on your loss. Dan was a great friend and neighbor to me and will truly be missed. He brought joy and laughter to all my encounters with him and we shared many encounters. May God grant you peace in these trying times.....
