Not sure what to say?

Didn't know our conversation last October would be our last. Your musical project would have been epic! Going to miss you my friend, rest well and enjoy Heaven!

Wow! Something About God's Grace! God Bless the Houston Family for sharing such a jewel with the world. God bless Bro. Houston for using his gift to glory God, as we all should. He inspired me to get back on the organ, and work with the senior choir. God's Love and Ours Missionary D. M. Robertson St. James MB Church Austin, TX

I met Darryl while serving as guest musician for Women's Day at St. James. He asked where else did I play and I shared that I serve as musician for St. John Hospital Choir. He said WOW! - I always wanted to do that. I replied "but Darryl you have performed on major stages everywhere". Darryl stated, I always wanted to play for the sick. To that I said WOW!!!

My Deepest sympathy to the Family of Darryl Houston and may he rest in peace in heaven. Truly a great musician and personality. Will be truly missed.

Because of you, a lifetime dream was accomplished. I had always wanted to accompany Aretha Franklin, and you gave me that opportunity. I will never forget you. My prayers are with the family during this transitional period.

I went to Jamieson Elementary with Darryl and in our music class he played piano and I played the bongos. I haven't seen Darryl since then and I heard of his passing on Facebook through a friend of a friend who knew him. May he rest in Heaven and may God wrap his arms around the family

A true musical giant! Thank you for all that you've taught me. Rest in peace.

Rest in peace Darryl.
