Not sure what to say?

Dave and I were classmates at Cal Poly. His distinctive laugh and kind ways are fond memories. I remember his telling me he'd talked to his mother, who told him which of his orchids were in bloom. For a short time we were roommates. It was at that time I came to know that his laugh and kindness were accompanied by a spunkiness that was pure delight. I remember the day he decided he'd try some chewing tobacco. He put a bit in his mouth, and headed out the door, to walk to school. It wasn't...

I worked with Dave before he owned his own plastering business. Everything I read above is true. Dave was a very kind person, good listener. We car pooled to work for quite a while. Great guy and yes, very humble. He never mentioned that he was a reservist and or his college accomplishments. He was quite selfless. I am very sad to learn that he has passed on. I was searching for him right now in hopes to connect up with him for some catching up and story telling.

Dave was an important college buddy of mine--his gentle, friendly manner was an inspiration to me.

He always had a smile. Spent four great years at Cal Poly with Dave as a friend and room mate. Will never forget him.

Dave was a great friend with whom I had the distinct honor of working with for many years. He not only was my good friend but my mentor in teaching the tricks of the trade of setting scaffolding. He dearly will be missed.

I don't like losing brothers, either; but
I will always remember Dave's kindness and wonderful laugh above all else. I
have always loved you, Dave, and always will.

Marcia, Mya and family I am so sorry for your loss.

I miss him in ways I can't express. I don't like losing brothers.
