Not sure what to say?

Dolores, we were so sorry to hear of David's passing. Know that our love and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time and pray that you find increasing strength and comfort in the days to come. We so appreciate you, Dolores, and all that you have done and do in helping our family to get answers for our Vietnam casualty, and for all you and David have done through the years for the National Alliance of Families.
Our love always,

We will miss you at my Mom's home during the holidays, but you have left your unforgettable mark on our lives. When the poker chips come out you will be remembered with fondness. You will be missed, I hope you and Bob can get a game started real soon.

Thank you David for your service to
our country during World War II and
thank you for your unselfish gift in sharing your life ,and Dolores,
in the long battle to bring America's Prisoners of War home.

Mr. Alfond,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army during WW II in Europe and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

David Alfond was a kind and generous man who will be greatly missed by his National Alliance Family as well as his many friends in Bellevue Washington. We send our condolences to Dolores and her family. With deep respect,
Captain William Stilwell, USN Ret. & Bonny Sisson Stilwell & family.

Mike, Barb & Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I pray for peace and healing during this difficult time. Your dad was such a sweetie, it was such a joy to see him with you out and about. Take care
