DAVID BUCKMASTER Obituary

DAVID T. BUCKMASTER, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at his home. Born in Portland, Ind., David was a Korean War Navy veteran. He had a long career as an Independent Insurance Salesman and Broker before retiring. David was an avid Indiana Hoosier fan, he enjoyed watching sports, playing cards, board games, his beloved candy bars, but most of all spending time with his family and grandchildren. "David had a quick wit and a funny sense of humor." Surviving are his daughter, Pam (Brad) Boling of Fort Wayne; grandsons, Brandon and Brad Mychal Boling; and granddaughter, Chantel Boling. He was preceded in death by parents, True and Marie Buckmaster; wife, Maria Toledo Buckmaster; and sister, Marjorie Steffy. Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. David Mitchell officiating. Calling also from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice.
