Not sure what to say?

David, you've always been a true friend and one of the most sincere and honest guys I've ever known. I treasure the time I got to spend with you back in Ann Arbor and thank you for all the musical knowledge you shared with me. I look forward to seeing you again on the next stage.

Dave was a role model for me as a young person interseted in music. We would insist on going to Floogles or wherever Joe and Dave were playing at the moment. These guy's always took time to talk with us to share knowledge and friendship.

I had the great pleasure to work with Dave last August in Davison. I'm sure I speak for all the singers out there when I say the he was a fantastic accompanist. Singing with Dave was a real treat.

I've never met another person like him....

I have enjoyed David's talent for many years. Most recently he played with my son Eric Hoffman this past August at Sugarbush in Davison. What a great musician and sweet, sweet soul he was.

I had the privilege of growing up listening to Dave play his music and sing. He was full of knowledge and of talent. Dave will be missed and always remembered.

I had the great pleasure to see Dave perform over the years at The Flint Jazz Festival, also with The People's Jazz Band, and back to the days of Great Lakes Express. I would like to say thanks for the many times Dave, and his music, warmed my heart! May God Bless!
