David B. LAIRD Jr.

I’m so saddened to hear of David’s passing. He was a dear friend and mentor of mine who made an immeasurable impact on my life. I had the pleasure of working with him years back, but our friendship extended beyond that time. We often had lunch together where he would give me career advice and we would discuss a wide variety of topics. He talked so highly of his family, telling me lots of stories of his beloved grandchildren. Condolences to you all, and Rest In Peace David.

I'm greatly saddened to learn of David's death. He was a very kind, professional, intelligent man and helped me at several times in my career in higher education fundraising. He was such true professional and instrumental with so many in higher education in terms of international understanding and planning. Rest in peace, David, and deepest sympathy to your family.

My sincere condolences to the Laird family. David made this world a better place. It was my pleasure and honor to have worked with him on gaining access to education for "all" communities. Rest in peace my friend and God bless.
