Not sure what to say?

I just heard of Dave's passing. I thought he was the nicest person I ever met. Very kind-hearted and so funny. I went to school with Dave at EKHS. We shared a class together and I remember he always made me laugh. I am so blessed to have known him and am so sad to hear of his passing. He was a hard worker and a man of integrity. He will be greatly missed.

I am so sad to hear of Dave's passing. A high school friend just told me. I met Dave at East Kentwood High School. I remember we ha a class together and he made me laugh all the time. We remained in touch for a few more years after high school. I admire him greatly. Hard worker and a man of great integrity. You are greatly missed my friend!

Lt Col Dave Raab "Number 7" was the epitome of what it means to be an Air Force officer and a gentleman. I worked with him as a civilian at Whiteman AFB for many years. Like others have indicated, I am honored to have served with and known him.
Dave Dye "airspace guy"

Just read of Dave's passing in the MSU Alumni magazine. We "served" together as cadets at MSU AFROTC Det 380 and as members of the Special Operations Force within the cadet corps. After commissioning I lost track of him but never forgot the experiences we gained as fellow classmates & team mates. My prayers and condolences to his family. The poem "High Flight" talks of "...touching the face of God." I know you did brother.

just heard from my folks that Dave had passed away-I was in Boy Scouts with him snd knew he had joined the Air Force. Then lost track of him. Sad to hear the news -prayers for the entire family

My heart aches for your family and my heart does as well. David made everyone feel like family; just knowing him for 8 short years made me a better person. Words alone cannot paint a picture of what kind of person David was. This world has been robbed of a gentle soul and Heaven has gained a warrior. Some of my best moments in the Air Force was with David; he was my leader and he was my friend. I will miss you Col Raab and it was my honor to salute you every day...

Thank you for yours and your family's service sir. God Bless

Fondest memories of you. Happy to have had you as a friend and cousin. You have made a lasting impression on many people in your lifetime and we are better off having known you.
