David Eugene Smith

Dave always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. I knew him only for a short while during my 3 years at HAL Computer Systems, but from the start he was one of my favorite people.

I never had the honor of meeting Dave's son or his wife, but I do remember that he was crazy about Daniel, and would joke that his wife was great because she "keeps me in line".

Dave, I wish you peace and rest in a higher place, and know that you touched many lives and you made me...

Dave had the kindest heart of anyone and was the best of co-workers, always there to help out and lift ones spirits.
To Daniel, your father was so proud of you and loved you unconditionally. You were one of the true joys in his life. Dave enjoyed talking about teaching you how to do things and how fearless you were.
