He is in my thoughts every hour. I pray with him. He was so dear to me.

I remember David's loving generosity and desire to serve the Lord.

I remember David fondly as a generous compassionate friend. He understood what it is to suffer with Jesus and to be a man for others.

David and I were good friends during the years we shared here in New Orleans. Regrettably our paths took us in diverse paths in ministry and prevented us from continuing our friendship. I assure David's family and his brother priests of the Archdiocese of New Orleans and of the Diocese of Alexandria that I pray for him and for them in their loss. Fr. Justin Kauchak, O.P.

He was my closest friend 3 years ago back home in Alexandria, La. He even called me his protégé. I use to cook for him three days a week and just listen to him tell me some amazing stories, listen to vinyl records, and just laugh. This was a great man. He was just there for me during a very difficult time in my life. I will miss his voice . My Sincerest Condolences to the Dyrymple family.
