David J. Waterman

When I reflect on David the first thing that comes to mind is a teddy bear --- always ready with a smile & a hug. He contributed to the church in so many ways including producing the video utilized during the service each Sunday as well as singing in the choir. He was a treasure and a friend to us all!

We worked together at Union Pacific. He was a good technician and great guy. Ill miss him.

Dave was a kind and caring man who will truly be missed. I have great memories of Perry family gatherings after I married his then brother-in-law in 1970. I am particularly grateful that he officiated at our vow renewal for our 40th anniversary. Condolences to his wife Janice and to Paul, Sara, and Philip as well as their spouses and children.

Having served on the Church Council with Dave, as well as singing in the choir with him, I can attest to what a giving person he was. Always ready with a smile and always happy to see you. I am one of the myriad of individuals he helped with computers --- always available, always patient, and always able to solve the problem, of which I had many. He was a special person and he will be missed. God Bless!

Dave was a loving person and always there when you needed him. He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. He was an example of Christian love for all of us.

He was always so kind and helpful and took excellent care of the church in Bakersfield on all levels. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to all the Waterman family at your loss. I knew Dave at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, San Diego. I remember Dave as always having a smile and twinkle in his eye!
