Dayna Brady, of Collins and formerly of Hawaii, passed away early Friday morning at her home.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Dayna was the daughter of Daniel Casiano Brady and Gail Campbell. She was employed in the Deli Department at Publix in Statesboro.
Dayna had a deep love for fishing, cooking, and especially for her son, Joshua. She cherished time spent at the beach and appreciated the simple joy of a good nap.
She is survived by her son, Joshua Damian Ganskop of Williamson, New York; her sister, Danielle Brady of Delray Beach, Florida; her father, Daniel Brady of Honolulu, Hawaii; her fiancée, Kyle Lively of Collins; her adoptive dad, Norman Metts; and her stepmother, Kelly Branham. She is also survived by three half-sisters — Misty, Richelle, and Melissa; her uncle, John Brady; her aunt, Janis Brady — along with several other loving family members and friends.
A service and interment will take place at a later date in Florida.
Arrangements are entrusted to Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel.
