Not sure what to say?

With much sympathy at the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. I wish I could have met him in a happier time. We met at the $ Store and learned a little about his life and faith while driving Mrs Paulson to Swedish Hospital to meet the emergency vehicle. A wise and wonderful priest once said to me, "God allows nothing to happen by chance". Most Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on Deacon Joel. AVE MARIA!

Dear Karen & family,
We're so deeply sorry to hear about the passing of sweet Joel! What a kind man! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this very difficult time! Our deepest sympathy, John & Birdie McNalley

Such a holy man. He always said the best homilies that were so full of the Holy Spirit and spoke to us at St. Jude for lots of years. We called him "smiley" because he always had one on his face! Such a husband and great family man! We know how he is loved and will be missed. Rest in peace Decon Joel. Peace to his family and friends - we know where he is. Praise God

Oh my gosh and that smile! Which was passed down to all the kids! Much Love to you all xo Georgia

I am very sad to hear of this loss. I will always remember Mr. Paulson as a kind loving man. I remember sitting at the kitchen table visiting with him and Kerry having a snack of Totino's pizza or pickles rolled in ham slices. All my love goes to all of you and this difficult time. What a wonderful man. Love to all of you, Georgia

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

A true family member to the Kaiers. You will be greatly missed and always loved. Lots of love to all of the Paulsons.

To my best friends family! So sorry for your loss. I wish I had words for your loss but there are no perfect words. Thinking of all of you as you go through this hard time. Dawn Westerman

My son Reese's Baptism.

To my best friend and dad. I will miss you with all my heart. You truly are a gentleman, scholar, and leader. I love you. "GO EASY"
