Garrett,
As young children we grew up across the street from one another. We were friends & did many things together as kids. You may remember some of the cold mornings of delivering newspapers in our neighborhood.
This news of Debbie's going home to be with the Lord has saddend me deeply. Fifty one years just dosen't seem to be enough life. Mine & my wife Melodys prayers are with you & your family. I remember Debbie as a young 16 year girl with all her hopes & dreams in...

Our sympathy and love are extended to Debbie's family. We knew her to be a sweet wonderful young lady but lost touch when we moved from the Roanoke Valley. We know her family can look forward to a "heavenly reunion".

Dear Garrett, Our hearts are saddened at the loss of Debbie and for the loss only your heart knows. She was a caring, compassionate, loving person and those traits shone through in all aspects of her life from working to EMS to caring for her "children" and you. You and Garrett, Jr. will be in our hearts and prayers as you travel this pathway. Remember you will always be wrapped in God's loving arms of protection and comfort. We are here for you in anything you may need.

I pray that the agony of such an untimely loss will be lifted by the absolute knowing that she is in a...

Lancaster Family,
Please know that all of you are in my families prayers.

What I remember most about Debbie was the love, compassion, and Godly example that she showed to all children, even to kids that were not her own (including me). Debbie would sacrifice so much help kids in need. She one of the reasons that I became a foster-to-adopt parent. Lastly, I remember her license plate on her Minivan that read "Going UP", now it would read "HOME".

May the Peace of...
