Diana Myo, age 47, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025. Born on April 6, 1978, in Ela, Naypyidaw, Myanmar, she was a beacon of love and compassion whose memory will forever warm the hearts of her family and friends.
Diana was a proud graduate of Nursing School and the Excel Center, dedicating her career to helping others. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her profession; she was a selfless woman known for her incredible generosity. Time and again, she would prepare meals for ill family members and friends, offering comfort and care through her culinary skills. The homeless population in Indianapolis felt her kindness as well, as she took it upon herself to provide nourishing food to those in need. Diana lived by the belief that the smallest act of kindness can make the biggest difference.
Her love for others extended deeply into her family life. Diana was a devoted wife to her husband, Aung Myo, and a loving mother to her cherished daughters, Mya Thant and July Myo. They were the lights of her life, and she fostered a warm and nurturing household filled with laughter, love, and the delicious aromas of her cooking.
Diana’s caring nature went beyond human relationships; she adored her dogs, often sewing outfits for them and her daughters—a reflection of her nurturing personality and creative spirit. Her home was a testament to her love, decorated not just with her crafts but also with the joy and laughter of those she held dear.
Diana leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire those who knew her. She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Maung Maung, and mother, Hla Myint, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms into eternal peace.
A visitation will be held in her honor on November 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Prayer Service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel, located at 2433 E. Main St., Greenwood, IN. Diana will be laid to rest after a burial service at Round Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, at 3:00 PM.
Though Diana has departed this earthly realm, her spirit of love, kindness, and compassion will forever remain, a guiding light for her family and an enduring presence in the hearts of all who knew her.
