Diane made such a wonderful impression on me with her love and service in the rooms of recovery. I still mention her in my talks whenever I’m asked to speak.

The memory of Diane still lingers, the way she helped others incarcerated, those of us in recovery, and people in her church. She was such a wonderful example for us all.

I remember Diane as being a very loving and kind person. So good to other people, self-sacrificing. I have no doubt she has wings. I miss her and think of her often.

I became engaged to her daughter Melissa last night. I know that Diane was an incredible person because of who her children have turned out to be.

I did not know Ms. Carpenter personally but I know her daughters and they are incredible women and I believe they are a reflection of the kind of women Ms. Carpenter was.

Diane remains an inspiration to me. Her positive attitude toward life (and the people in her life) is only one aspect. She was one of the few truly good people I know. She may even be a saint; I certainly think so!
