Not sure what to say?

As I close out my 45th consecutive softball season, I think of you and still miss how you used to tighten up my fielder's glove every year. You were a wonderful friend. Many blessings. Namaste, Diane. DONNA

How the year did fly! And you with your wings. R.I.P.

I had the pleasure of working with Diane from 1964 to 1997. She was always so helpful to me and the hydro survey crew. We had a lot of laughs and she made our job so much easier.

I will miss Diane so much, she is the one person who I will always respect. She taught me a lot about life and keeping my mouth shut. She was a treasure and a best cousin! I will miss runnig into her in Reno during bowling conferences and at the local casinos.

Judy, So sorry to hear about your Little Diane as we knew her. Please remember all the wonderful years you two had together and take care of yourself. Kathy and Cathy, Umatilla, Oregon

Judy,

Diane was a whirlwind of power and tireless energy. I often thought of the tasmanian devil from Loony Tunes when I worked with her at the Corps. She was fiesty, spirited and downright contrary. But she also knew what she was doing and saved my kiester many times by telling me the history of Eureka's past as well as that of Humboldt and Del Norte County. She was a hard worker and made life at work humorous, interesting and enjoyable. Words cannot express what a gift Diane was...

Diane was one of my favorite customers. When she would come in to my store she would laugh at my stupid jokes and tell me some funny ones because we both knew she was funnier! She will really be missed.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

Judy,
I was so sorry to hear of Diane's passing. May you find comfort in all the wonderful years you two had together. She was pretty funny sometimes when I had to hang out out the engineers office. She would quietly try to help us, on the Q-T of course. Take care of yourself.
