Dear Schimmoller Family:

In attempting to find contact information for your family, I found this obituary. I am saddened to learn of your loss. Our family was fortunate to be next-door neighbors to such an amazing man and family. I hope that you all find comfort in many happy memories and the faith. By the way, the article is beautifully written and the photo is a good one. I always remember your dad smiling.
Regards,

my sympathy to Virginia and Family. Don and I had many laughs together. Good man. He loved his tuna sandwiches. we worked together at St. Frances of Rome, Azusa. rip Don.

I knew Don while in high school and he introduced me to my future wife, Patricia, when we were students at the University of Dayton. We have ben close friends over the years and shared our life stories. We can attest that he and Virginia truly were extraordinary Catholics in every sense of the word, raised a faith-filled family and preached that faith through example. They have been an inspiration to us and to many!
