Not sure what to say?

Slivka girls - Erik and I were so deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Don's passing. He was such a brilliant, charismatic, charming man. We had the utmost respect and admiration for him. We will always cherish the many good times we had with the two of you (and Donell and Bruce too) on the Silver Fox. He was, indeed, a Silver Fox. We loved him, and we love you.

Dear Dianne and Donell, my love and prayers to you and your family. Babe and Don had the same birthday, remember? and I bet they are together on someone's front porch mocking our tap dancing together with big smiles.

I was so sad to hear the news. Don was a great man, and I've enjoyed serving all of you at your Sunday night family dinners. I loved chatting with you all about Capitola, the Giants and the 49ers. You are my favorite customers and I love you all. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

On behalf of the members of the Northern California Peace Officers Association we would extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of our departed friend and collogue, Don Slivka. Don was a member of the NCPOA for many years and attended many of the meetings with the large contingent of probation officers. He will be missed by all that knew and respected him for his dedication and service. Rest in peace.
