Donovan D. Berkeypile

Just learned of Don's passing. I worked with Don for 22 years at Consumers Energy. My sympathy to his family.

I do not know Donovan personally. However, I used to post photos of the cakes I make in a Facebook page 'Man About Cakes'. Donovan used to compliment and encourage me with his comments. Somehow, 'hearing' from him always gave me joy; it's like getting news from an old friend, albeit a stranger. From his comments, I deduced that he was a real kind gentleman. Recently, I noticed his absence from the page and was worried, occasionally checking his page to see if he is ok. It is with sadness that...

Donovan was a classmate and we walked together at graduation. He was always so kind and respectful. We both worked at Consumers and upon occasion we would share a happy greeting. To his family I am sorry for your loss, he was a good man.
