Doris M. Miller, age 67, of Brick passed away at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Doris was born in Point Pleasant Hospital, and was a life-long resident of Brick, NJ. After raising her daughter, Doris worked at Six Flags Great Adventure for eight years, prior to retiring. She was loved by everyone she met. Doris is pre deceased by her husband, Homan "Peachy" Miller and her mother, Olga Dahncke. She is survived by her Father, David Dahncke Sr.; one daughter, Brenda Miller; four sisters, Emma Savage, Victoria Satter, Myrtle Vis, and Theresa Armstrong; one brother, David Dahncke Jr.; She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, all of who adored her. A viewing will be held on August 6, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ 08723. A funeral home service will be offered Thursday evening at 7:30pm. Interment will be held on Monday August 10, 2015 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrights Town, NJ. Anyone wishing to join the family is asked to meet in the funeral home parking lot Monday morning by 9:15am. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to a charity of your choice.
