Doris R. Sorensen

Groton - Doris R. Sorensen, 88, of 600 Meridian St. Ext., Groton, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at her home.

She was born on March 7, 1924, in Sanford, N.C., the daughter of William and Mary (Taylor) Reaves; and had been married to the late Robert A. Sorensen. Doris had worked for many years in retail sales.

Byles- Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St. is assisting her family with the arrangements, which are to be private.
