Doug and I laughed and cried together for the biggest part of our lives. Went down many trails together and shared so many moments together and those times are the biggest treasure I have and priceless. He touched so many lives I'm happy other people will enjoy their treasure that they also shared with Doug. Rest in peace and condolences to his family. He is missed.

The first time I met Doug he walked into the coffee shop with a large wheel of blue cheese! Which of course he graciously shared. We were instantly friends. I got to plant trees once with Doug and enjoyed seeing his groves that stood amongst the shortgrass prairie, as unique and beautiful as Doug is.
