Not sure what to say?

To the family of Doug Kane, my 11 year old daughter just finished his book and loved it so much we began looking for Book 2, and realized quickly that something was wrong, as there was no book. We have found Mr. Kane's obituary here, and just want to extend heartfelt sympathies to his family. His words will certainly live on to all the young ladies who loved every word of his book. Sincerely, The Schutz family in Arizona

Ariel's Journey is a wonderful imaginative book.

Just a note to let you know that your family is in my thoughts. I enjoyed reading Doug's book.

I care and share in your sadness. I love you my friends Doug and Margo.

I worked with Doug while he was the IT Director at Wickens Herzer & Panza back in the 1980s and no matter what time of the night I would call with a computer problem, he was always cheerful and helpful. My thoughts and prayers are with his children and family during this difficult time.

What a Blessing it was to know Doug and share even the short amount of time with him. Thanks for the experience of riding your Icelandics and other horses at your stables. My children and I really enjoyed it. May you truly have peace now.

Doug was a special Guy always smileing and helpful.

Doug was an incredible boss and mentor; always giving unselfishly of his experiences and knowledge. His friendship and leadership live on in the lives he touched.

My boys loved to jump on Doug's lap and listen as he would read stories aloud to them. It was fun to visit his stables where he would share his beloved Icelandic horses with us. Once we had a fun-filled weekend together with Doug at Kalahari. The most precious time we had together, though, was the time we shared discovering God's incredible promises...
