It is only years later that I understand and appreciate the man and wll he did for us, his many children. I was in the class of '76. We must have given him grey hairs and hours of lost sleep. Earl Beeks was a man of integrity and quiet dignity who served University City High with much needed fortitude. It was an honor to teach under him.

My deepest condolences to Mrs. Beeks; Earl, Jr. & Esther; Anita & Robert and the entire Beeks family. I graduated UCHS with Earl, Jr.in 1973, so Mr. Beeks was my sophomore principal and then school principal after that and also when my younger brothers, Joe (1975) and Steve (1977) followed me to the high school.
