Not sure what to say?

In tribute to my brother-in-law, Edgar:

Today ends the month we lost you one year ago on April 24th - exactly one week from my birthday. The 24th is interestingly the exact date in the month of January four years earlier that we lost your wife, and my sister, Pearline. Though numbers do have meaning, I'm not trying to forge one from this -- just enjoying it in my own mind and heart as a type of connection between the two of you. Your connection in love and marriage meant a lot...

Dad, Even though its been a whole year, it still does not seem real that you're no longer here on this side of the Jordan. I still have your phone number programmed on speed dial, I still laugh at your jokes, I still remember -- I'm still encouraged. On behalf of the family of Edgar Christian, we thank God for the many expressions of love and encouragement from so many people who were touched by his life. Despite the sense of loss, we know that he's more alive today than he ever was as a result of being in the presence of the Lord.

I'M STILL BLOWN AWAY WITH THE PASSING OF UNCLE EDGAR.I LIFT MY HEAD TO THE HILLS WHERE ALL MY HELP COMES FROM. ITS GOOD TO KNOW GOD! THE ONLY COMFORT I HAVE IS KNOWING HE KNEW THE COMMANDER OF THE HILLS.

I worked with Ed at Norton Middle School back in the 80s. He was always so helpful with any request and could "fix" just about anything. And, he kept a very clean working environment. My prayers are with the family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Sister Gail, Sister Kim, Marelle and family. Just know we are here for you. Lawrence, Jerri, Jhamerra and Jasmine

Kevin, Premala & Family:

We wish to express our condolences at the loss of your father. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Love

Dad, you will forever be miss. You and Mama are back together in God arms. Rest in Peace, I love you.

Your Granddaughter

Mr. Christian was my neighbor growing up and he and his wife were always very kind people. I pray that you find comfort in the loving arms of Christ. God bless you all.
