Not sure what to say?

Mary Ellen, Such good memories of Ed growing up together and then you and Ed
at reunions and in our home in Glenview. Thinking of you today.

Dear DeVaney Family,

We just wanted to pass along our condolences to your family. We all have great memories of Mr. DeVaney--what a great man. Please know that our thoughts and prayers go out to Mary Ellen, Mary Kate, Kelly and Eddie and the rest of the family during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

The Clince Family

Dear DeVaney Family,

I just now learned of Ed's passing. Eddie was a great guy, with a wonderful family and a great sense of humor. I enjoyed getting together with Eddie from time to time for lunch and we would share stories about his Mom and Dad, and my Grandmother, Elizabeth (DeVaney) Wittmeyer - his Dad's sister. Eddie shared many stories about the DeVaney family from Ireland - all of which I enjoyed hearing - and Eddie could tell a great story!

God Bless all of your...

Dear Mary Ellen, Ed, Mary Kate, Kelly indenture Devaney family,
Dan and I were sorry to hear of Ed's passing. We had recently been thinking about the times we spent attending our children's high school events and among these memories were evenings we spent visiting with you on the bleachers at the boys' football games on Friday nights. You both were always gracious and fun to be with.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Dan and Gloria Dahlinghaus

Dear DeVaney Family:
So sorry to hear of Ed's Passing yet delighted with his new Life of Glory with God.
We are sorry we were unable to make any of the services. We are both Quaranteened until Saturday with Influenza A which at our age puts us at a very high risk.
Please know of our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time of grieving.

I always enjoyed my time with Ed at Walgreens and at our dinners with our retiree group. From my earliest days at WAG, Ed and the others welcomed me into the group and we became good friends. Always enjoyed Ed's sense of humor including the times he'd leave bottles of Rogaine on my desk! May The Lord Bless his dear soul and bless you, his family.

Mary Ellen and family,
I am so saddened to hear of Ed's passing. We shared so many happy memories of growing up in Chicago. Ed and Dennis enjoyed their friendship. I enjoyed getting to know you also, Mary Ellen. My sympathy to you.

What first came to mind as I read of Ed's passing was "what a wonderful man he was, how devoted he was to his family!" I feel fortunate to have his light shine on my time and my children's time at St. Raymond right through today. He must have been an amazing Grandpa!

With sincere sympathy,

Marsha Ulbrich
